Czech model Teresa Hluskova , arrested for attempting to smuggle heroin to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), has changed her stance on the matter. Earlier the tear she confessed to smuggling heroin to UAE. But now her statement has changed.

She said that she had come to Pakistan to do research on Islam. The 21 year old model was taken into custody from the Allama Iqbal International Airport in January when she attempted to smuggle 9kg heroin to UAE. Drugs worth Rs150 million were recovered from her luggage.

After almost a year in Pakistan jail, the foreign model has learned a few thing from her environment not only that, she has also adopted the Pakistani culture as she wears traditional clothes and carries a shawl too .

In her latest statement, She has said that she came to Pakistan for modelling and for doing research on Islamic studies. But the Customs officials arrested me on the airport, thinking of me as an easy target.
